The Fine Print, in Plain English
- A friend counts when they sign up with your link and we finish and get paid for their tax return this season (through April 15, 2027). Signing yourself up doesn't count.
- Your free return covers W-2 income plus up to one simple side gig (Schedule C). If your return is bigger, we take $150 off instead. If you already paid, we refund that amount.
- After 6, you get a $10 gift card for each extra friend who files with us. We email it to you.
- Free returns and gift cards can count as income to you. If anyone earns $2,000 or more from us in a year, we'll ask for a W-9 and send a 1099.
- We tell you how many people signed up and filed. We never tell you who they are or anything about their taxes.
