We check your credential with the IRS Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers (EAs) or your state board (CPAs). Upload your own engagement terms and we acknowledge them in writing.You're active
Your portal keeps your status, your signed records and your documents in one place. You choose whether we may list you by name on our site.What our terms ask of you
- An active Enrolled Agent enrollment or CPA license, and a current PTIN.
- Keep client information confidential, and follow IRC section 7216 on using and sharing tax return information.
- Sign and follow our Written Information Security Plan (WISP).
- Use your own login with multi-factor authentication on every system you use for our clients.
- If you work on our clients' files, including as a 1099 contractor, protect client data on your own devices and report a suspected breach to us within 24 hours.
You can read the full terms in your portal before you sign anything. Our side: we keep your information private, share only what you need, describe you only by the credential you hold, and acknowledge your own terms in writing.
Plain about who we are
FL Tax Experts' in-house team are tax preparers, strategists and business consultants, not Enrolled Agents, CPAs or attorneys, and we'll never present ourselves that way. That's exactly why we work with you: when a client needs representation before the IRS, we send them to someone who can provide it.
